DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY Reviewing the U-Haul aspect of the business. We were directed here (not our choice - this was a corporate move) to pick up a truck for a 2000+ mile, one-way move. Received a truck that 1) was the WRONG SIZE 2) had a badly cracked driver wing mirror 3) had bald tires 4) had a badly bent locking hasp, and would not accommodate the U-Haul lock we'd bought. We're a family, not professional movers - if the team loading us hadn't noticed the bad tires we might have driven off leaving part of our possessions in storage, the ones with us at risk of being stolen, and chancing accident and/or flat tires while on the interstate. Clearly there was no thought put into what we needed as customers. Note to team : putting a tiny X sticker on a cracked wing mirror does not make it safe. There was glass missing! How could you let anyone drive off the lot like that? Currently making other arrangements with U-Haul, but this has put us 12 hours behind our schedule. Editing to add: This team attempted to reach out to us after the review posted... using the wrong phone number. So clearly no one is in charge of anything. To be clear - we gave U-Haul customer service the dimensions of the truck and they verified it was not the size we'd rented, and that we should never have been given a truck with that much damage to the wing mirror. CS took on the issue, and then the West St Pete (66th St) team went over and above to get us on the road as soon as possible. West St. Pete ensured we had a clean and SAFE truck ready immediately at open the next day. West St. Pete saved our trip, our schedule, and had our safety as their foremost concern. Our advice? GO TO WEST ST PETE!

They were the best team we’ve ever experienced with any delivery! Very calm and understanding of our needs…careful of placing our new rugs and furniture. Highly recommended!
