Read your contract with this place. In the contract it states you must give them 30 days notice before you move out. Further, you have get a specific form from Rec Nation via email to complete and return before RecNation starts the 30 day count down. I sold my RV on January 21, 2026. The sign on the fence at the entrance says you must give notice by email when you move out. So I send Rec Nation an email right after I moved out saying I did not need the site after 1/21/26. But you have to get the form, complete it and send the form back before they start the 30 day count down. Also, when you call you get an AI person who just says things like "Oh, that frustrating" when you have a complaint and that someone will call you back. Here's a hint ask for a supervisor when you have a complaint...call backs don't always happen. Anyway, Rec Nation said they did not get the specific form unti l some time in February so I had to pay $272 for rental fees for February and March. Any other place I have ever dealt with would stop charging you the day the service stops. And, if you are paid up for the month, would send you a prorated refund. What Rec Nation does maybe legal but it is not right in my book. Further, remember - Rec Nation is managed remotely so unless you like talking to an AI entity about your problem, go park your rig someplace else. One more thing, if you do a price comparison you'll probably Rsc Nation fees are higher than most of the storage places in this area. When Rec Nation took over what had been a locally owned storage facility the first thing they did was raise prices and there were many people who moved out. I stayed only because I was selling my RV.

Muy buen lugar , Con mucha seguridad para entrar y siempre hay un guardia de seguridad a la entrada que vive ahí y está vigilante.

Over the past six months, I have had a very poor experience with this place. They have repeatedly overbilled me, charging fees such as document fees and even late fees, despite the fact that my credit card was active and in good standing. Their billing system does not work properly. I was forced to remove my credit cards from their system due to constant billing issues, and even after I submitted a cancellation, they continued attempting to charge me. Customer service is terrible. No one responds, no solutions are offered, no credits are issued, and no responsibility is taken for their mistakes. The entire experience has been frustrating and exhausting. What’s most concerning is that due to their lack of organization, customers may end up having to contact their bank, cancel cards, and protect their personal information, which should never be necessary with a professional business. I do not recommend this place for storing or leaving your vehicles, especially when there are many nearby options with equal or better pricing and far better service. Update I’ve made many attempts, and it’s frustrating that your AI system won’t route calls to a real person. I’ve been a customer for the past 8 years, and all of this poor service started when the new management took over early last year. I’ve actually gotten faster responses through Google than by emailing you directly—what a disappointing situation. I spoke with the supervisor in Ruskin and was told he can’t help beyond maintenance/parking. You don’t call back and you’ve ignored my complaints. I was charged yesterday and didn’t even receive a receipt. This is pushing me to cancel my cards to prevent further incorrect billing.”

If I could give them zero stars I would. Sure renting the spot and paying is easy and a breeze …but that’s where it ends. First …the rate goes up immediately…first I was paying $85 a month for a 30’ camper …2 months later it’s now $95. Second…they like to play the “insurance” game …you provide your insurance information in the app as requested and then they take weeks …if they respond at all …to “approve” your coverage…but by that time …it’s too late …they’ve started billing you for their insurance…once you provide your insurance again in the app where it tells you …they let you know your insurance is approved BUT it’s too late and they cannot refund you for the previous insurance…rinse and repeat this every other month ….even though my insurance policy through State Farm renews once a year. Third and certainly not the last issue I’ll have from them is the “move out” you are forced to request the move out in the app or online but you get no confirmation….they tell you that you MUST request a move out date 30 days in advance (I requested 31 January on the 1st of January) they have yet to “approve” that or confirm it. I have tried to call no less than 10 times since 1 January 2026 and you cannot get past their AI telephone system. He keeps telling me that no one is available to assist me and that he’ll have someone reach out to me. I have asked to speak to a representative all ten times I’ve called and have not received a call back yet. I’ve also sent 3 emails that have gone unanswered. They will absolutely take your money and rent you a spot …but that’s where it ends. There is no way to check out or move out of your spot and they will continue to charge you and add in extras you did not agree to. Stay far far away from this place and REC Nation in general. There are many other locally owned and ran storage places around that are easier to work with and deal with if you have an issue.
