RecNation RV & Boat Storage

In my opinion a very disappointing experience. Was great before these new owners took over. No personnel on the property to help. The 800 number hangs up on you when calling. Impossible for get any resolution.

Sray away horrible costumer service in Smithville, Missouri location. Half the time you are talking with a AI robot. I called to change my Enclosed storage unit to a outdoor parking spot. Found out months later they did not adjust the price and asked for a refund of over $700. But conveniently they dont have any record of me requesting to change and will not take time to verify with the cameras.

I was helped on the phone by Gabby, she was very personable, and her ability to understand my billing was phenomenal. Not only did she get the two charges refunded to me that were overlooked when I initially rented back in December 2025, but Gabby also was able to get me set up on monthly ACH billing, saving me $5 a month on each unit. Anyone who gets Gabby as a phone representative will see what I mean. THANK YOU GABBY!!! :)

Do not use RecNation in Trimble, MO period!! The incompetence is off the charts at this place and corporate. I went to pick up one of my trailers to load my side by side and was shocked to see it had one of their locks on it. Called their customer service and proceeded to get some guy who thought it was cute to pretend he was a computer voice until I told him to knock it off. He sent me to a manager who then told me there's no reason there should be a lock on it period. He called the yard manager who wouldn't answer his call until he called back a second time. Her response, "I didn't know I was supposed to take it off." Why did you put it on there in the first place. I'm on an auto pay and everything has been fine. Just check my history. Not only that, a year ago I took my enclosed trailer to the lake for a little over a month. I was told that since the trailer wasn't there, she assumed that I had vacated and cancelled my unit. Are you kidding me? The trailer has been out of there several times and there's never been an issue before. So here we are, deer season a head of us, I'm having to rent a trailer to haul my side by side because she couldn't unlock it until tonight. They are doing nothing but costing me money. I'm beyond pissed.

Great storage property. Safe, no issues and convenient.
