Carter’s and Aja are amazing to work with. Always so friendly and helpful. The units are always clean and spacious for the price you pay and the fact that I can drive my car into the building to unload close toy storage unit is a huge plus.

I have used Carters self storage many times over the years. It’s in a great location, easily accessible, and always very clean and safe. I especially love their customer service, no corporate red tape, just super friendly locals! It’s a true Charleston gem.

Fantastic, locally owned and operated self-storage facility. We’ve been renting for several years (since 2017) and they’ve only increased rates once a modest amount since then. They’re not like the national self-storage facilities that are constantly increasing rates and providing bait-and-switch specials. The facilities are well-maintained, clean and the climate controlled units are always cool. The owners and staff are friendly and approachable. You can always talk to an actual person on site if you need to. Great place, great people.

Having tried Go Store It followed by Extra Storage, we found and love Carters City Self Storage. These folks are very pleasant to do business and treat you like family. Unlike the others they do not raise the rent every few months. Everything works as it should and is kept clean and well lighted.
